Fantasy League Rules 2008
- Entry £5 Per Team. You can submit your team at any time, but teams will not start scoring points until payment is made.
- Number of Players per Team is 7, consisting of: 3 Batsman, 2 Bowlers and 2 allrounders.
- Maximum Team Rating is 45 Points.
- One Player Picked to be appointed as Captain, who will then score double points throughout the season. This player can not be transferred!!
- You can select players from the 1st XI, 2nd XI and 3rd XI.
- Transfer window: This year you can transfer players (except your Captain) at any time during the year. You are limited to 3 transfers a season. Keep an eye on this page for new players to be added.
- Each transfer is £1 per player.
- The competition will run throughout the league season – 13th May until the 9th September. Teams must be given in to Justin Hemming.
- Only Cherwell League games are eligible for scoring points.
POINTS SCORING
Batting Points:
- 1 point per run scored
- 5 points for a not out
- 10 bonus points for a 50
- 50 bonus points for a 100
- -10 for a duck
Bowling Points:
- 15 points per wicket
- 20 points for a caught and bowled
- 50 bonus points for 5 wickets in an innings
- 100 bonus for 10 wickets in an innings
Fielding Points:
- 5 points per appearance
- 10 points per catch
- 15 points per stumping
PRIZES:
1st Prize - 50% of money taken
2nd Prize - 35% of money taken
3rd Prize - 15% of money taken
