About Shipton Cricket Club
Shipton-Under-Wychwood Cricket Club is situated in Oxfordshire in the Cotswold's. We run 3 teams on a Saturday and also run a friendly side on a Sunday. We also have a very good youth section, with over 50 children from U-11's to U-17's religiously turning out on a Friday night at the club for training and participating in youth fixtures.
Shipton compete in the Oxford Times Cherwell League. The 1st XI are in Division 1, and the 2nd XI in Division 5 with the 3rd XI in Division 9. We also compete in the "nPower Village Cup", and midweek knockout competitions.
The First XI won the National Village Knockout at Lords in both 2002 & 2003 and also won the Cherwell League Division 1 Championship in 2004.
